Cop in legal trouble

The Kandy police has begun investigations against a police inspector who reprimanded a traffic cop for advising him not to jay walk in Dalada Weediya in Kandy. 

The Inspector who was in civil clothes had tried to cross the Dalada Weediya without using the zebra crossing when the traffic police advised him not to do so. 

In return, the IP reprimanded the police using obscene language. DIG, Pujitha Jayasundara has ordered the police to take legal action against the IP for misbehaviour.
