G'ment men engaged in fertilizer scam arrested 
Sri Lankan News

An agriculture officer, a Samurdhi officer and another man who were attempting to smuggle away 90 bags of fertilizer which were meant to be given to farmers at subsidized prices was arrested by the Wilgamuwa police on Sunday night. 

Police said that the men have been engaged in this fraudulent activity for several months.

The men will be produced before Court today.
