7 UNP M.P.s discuss crossing over even before winning at elections
It is reported that seven UNP M.P.s who are contesting under the UNF
are having discussions already to cross over to the Govt. party after
the General elections.One of them is a former State Transport Minister. Others are those representing the Badulla, Polonnaruwa, Moneragala, Kegalle, Ratnapura and Galle Districts. Incidentally, the UNP candidates for the General elections have at the time of nominations given a letter to the UNP Gen. secretary that they will not leave the party
Some Foreign Diplomatic missions have received the list of UNP M.P.s who are going to join the Govt.
