A consumer was shocked when he found two baby snakes hidden in his rice and curry packet which he bought for lunch from an eatery in North Western Sri Lanka.
"Believe it or not! A youth, who purchased a packet of rice and curry from an eatery in the Kurunegala town got the shock of his life midway through the meal", 'The Island' reported today.
The newspaper also carried in its frontpage a photograph of the person who bought the food along with the slithering small and thin snakes in the packet.
"I vomited all I had eaten," the newspaper quoted the 25-year-old private sector employee, Muthumal as saying.
"He discovered, to his horror, two baby snakes in the tempered Kankun (food item)", it said.
