Experience is central to Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential bid, and last night (April 9) she tapped one of music's most venerable rockers, Elton John, to help fill her campaign coffers with $2.5 million after a benefit concert at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

Williams revealed that Brown, born Inga Marchand, is in talks with a couple of television networks for a potential do*****entary and reality show on her life.

Simpson declined to name songwriting collaborators, but tells Billboard.com she will most definitely be involved in the creative process. "Writing is a release for me," she says. "It's a way for me to tell my story. That's not to say I wouldn't record a song that I didn't write. It's just that it has been a while since I have opened the book."

 |
An "electronic duet" charity version of Louis Armstrong's 1968 U.K. No. 1 "What a Wonderful World" by Katie Melua and the late Eva Cassidy has repeated the feat of the original and gone to the top of the British singles chart.
Released on Dramatico and available exclusively through retailer Tesco, all profits from the single are going to the British Red Cross. Cassidy has topped the U.K. album chart three times and Melua twice, but neither has had a No. 1 single before.
